Today I introduce to you Brianne Manz from @strollerinthecity. I met Brianne on Instagram and fell super hard for this city living mama. She has 3 kids in NYC, 3! Do I really need to say anymore?!  She's been featured on the Today show, E News and People Magazine. Read on to find out why I'm crushing so hard!

What is the best thing about being a mom?

I mean everything! To be able to watch these little souls that you brought into this world blossom and grow, is just the most incredible experience ever!

What is the hardest thing about being a mom?

The juggling act is certainly a challenging one but I can work with that...I feel like I wasn’t totally prepared for the overwhelming emotional highs and lows of being a mother. As a parent you feel more love than you could possibly imagine. But you also can feel so upset when your little one is sick too.

How have you changed since being a mom?

Being a mother has made me more fearless. I want to show my kids that they should never be too scared or embarrassed to try anything or speak their minds.

What's the best piece of advice given to you?

This, too, shall pass. The biggest challenges—sleep training, potty training, tantrums, sassy attitudes...the seemingly insurmountable obstacles we are faced with on a daily basis are really just a blip on the radar when you look back. Be flexible and keep it moving.

Who's your style icon?

For contemporary icons I have always been a Sienna Miller fan. Love her style and hair and whole look, circa 2004 (the Jude Law years).

My fictional fashion icon has to be Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and The City. Adventurous, chic, boho, avant garde...she did it all.

How has your style changed since becoming a mom?

My style changed at first, but now I’m back to my same style, maxi dresses anyone? The only thing I would say has changed is my shoes! I’m more practical with my footwear. Comfort is more of a priority these days.

What are three essentials you need everyday?

Phone (with a spare charger), coffee and my laptop.

What late night food do you crave?

Salt and Vinegar potato chips, I’m more of a salty girl!

What do you do to relax?

I try to get mani/pedi/mini-massages regularly. Most of the time I am responding to emails in the pedicure chair but I can still manage to relax. And my weekly blowouts at Drybar!

How has motherhood changed your career?

I basically changed everything. I used to own a fashion showroom, which I sold when I had my first child. I started blogging shortly after.

Honesty, I work just as much—probably more now. But I’m able to spend more time with my family and I can make my schedule.

3 words to describe yourself

Kind - I’ve always treated others with the upmost respect. Something my mama taught me very young!

Hard-working - I always have been.

Responsible (it sounds dorky but I have always been a good apple).

What's your favorite app?

My Drybar app or Instagram - I love strolling through photos and seeing my friends and family!

What 3 things in your bag you couldn't live without?

My phone because obviously—it is a must for my job. Beauty Counter Lip gloss, Hand sanitizer ( isn’t it still flu season?)

Best advice you could give a mom with young kids?

You are not alone! Everything you are experiencing, the emotions, the rage, the fear, the confusion, the doubts, the exhilaration—every mom is with you!!! Meet other moms and make friends and be open to everything.

If your life were a song, what would it be?

Today I’m feeling: Holiday by Madonna. Ha!

What's the secret of being a bad ass mom?

Just keep it moving! Have a good sense of humor. And definitely don’t sweat the small stuff. Haters are gonna hate!
